Frequently Asked Questions

*Rental Rates include a 10-day rental period. BUT, you must call when you’re ready for a pick-up. We DO NOT automatically pick up dumpsters at the 10-day mark. After 10 days, it’s $10/day.

*DO NOT OVERFILL THE DUMPSTER WITH CONCRETE AND DIRT.

IF OUR TRUCK CAN’T LIFT IT, WE CAN’T MOVE IT.

  1. how much is it to rent a dumpster?

Our 15-yard dumpsters rent for $325 within Buncombe County for a 10-day period. That price includes one dumpster and 1.5 tons of waste. Additional waste is $65 a ton. After the 10-day rental period, it’s $10 a day.

(We do deliver outside of Buncombe County for a quoted price.)

2. What size are your dumpsters?

Our 15 -yard dumpsters are approximately 14 feet long, 8 feet wide, and five feet tall…and sit comfortably in most driveways.

3. Is there a fee for delivery and pick-up?

Of course not! Our fee covers delivery of the dumpster, rental period, and the set amount of tonnage depending on the size. Extra tonnage is billed at $65 a ton. Extra days are $10 a day.

4. What if it rains?

Our dumpsters have a drain at the bottom so water pours out before we head to the landfill.

5. Do you deliver dumpsters outside of Asheville City Limits?

We do! We’ll deliver a dumpster to areas like Hendersonville, Brevard, Mars Hill and Flat Rock for a little extra to cover travel expenses. Don’t see your town listed? Call or email and we’ll let you know if we can do it.

6. What can I put in the dumpster?

You can put almost all non-hazardous materials in our dumpsters like trash, furniture, toys, bikes, yard waste, appliances (if hazardous materials have been removed), roofing shingles, siding, construction & demolition debris, curtains, carpet, cardboard, your husband’s “Man Cave,” your wife’s “She Shed,” the entire contents of your teenage son’s room he refuses to clean…you get it.

7. What CAN’T we put in the dumpster?

Hazardous materials not allowed in our dumpsters include wet paint and paint-related liquids, asbestos, pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, motor oil, antifreeze, lead acid batteries and tires. And please, no dead bodies.

8. How high can I fill the dumpster?

We ask that you not go more than a few inches above the edge so we can safely tarp the top for driving to the landfill. No one wants to get hit with your Grandma’s damaged patio set while driving down I-26.

9. What if I fill the dumpster up and need another one? How much is it?

It’s the same price per dumpster if you need another one. We know, it’s annoying, but we have landfill costs every time we dump a load and gas costs for our trucks on the road. It may be garbage but sadly, it still costs money for disposal.

10. But what if I fill it up before the 10-day period is over?

That’s great! We’ll come get it when you’re ready. Or, we can swap out that dumpster for a new one which will be charged the same rate as the first dumpster. But you’ll get 10 more days!

(Don’t forget to call, text, or email us when you’d like it picked up. We don’t automatically come at the 10-day period. After 10 days, it’s $10/day.)

11. And finally…why should we use you for our dumpster rental when there are other dumpster companies?

That’s easy…competitive, fair prices and GREAT customer service! Simply put, we answer our phone and it’s usually the owner. If we miss your call, we’ll call back ASAP. (We’ve even answered it at 10 p.m., on a Friday night. When the dumpster bug hits, we get it and never judge.) Need a dumpster that day? There’s a good chance we can get you one. When you call us, you’re not talking to an operator based in Kansas with a national chain who’s trying to schedule your dumpster for Asheville. You’re talking to someone local who knows the area, the weather, the traffic and can make your rental an easy one. So shop local, even for your dumpster!
